Daddy finishes his Children’s rotation and begins a grueling month back at Parkland. He works many nights and weekends:( We are thankful he works so very hard to help our family and to become a fantastic radiologist.
Grandma Linda and Grandpa Mike spend the month here in Dallas with us.
Catie and Brandon visit the Texas Discovery Center to learn all about butterflies. They visit the butterfly house, touch a chrysalis, make crafts and butterfly snacks, and listen to butterfly books and songs. Catie is still waiting and hoping a butterfly will land on her hand. Mommy even learns something new-- butterflies come from a chrysalis while moths come from cocoons.
Grandma Judy visits us twice. We take trips to Starbucks (Catie and Brandon devour the tiny pink donuts here), attend a Jack and the Bean Stalk puppet show, have lunches at Chick-Fil-A and enjoy being outside in the springtime weather.
On March 9, 2012 Mommy and Daddy celebrate 10 years of marriage. Daddy sweeps Mommy off her feet with beautiful roses and a new ring.
Brandon and Catie are officially staying in the same room at night. What big kids! They usually doze off fairly quickly. Though, Brandon likes to chatter as he falls asleep while Catie prefers quietly sucking her thumb. Catie likes having Brandon with her. She says they "protect" each other.
Daddy gets a new white Ford truck. He will be much safer on his daily drive to work.
We celebrate St. Patrick's Day with lots of green- green juice, green pancakes, green clothes and green baths. We have a delicious lunch at Central Market and enjoy a weekend with Daddy.
Catie and Brandon enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
Catie and Brandon have pictures taken at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. We even take a few shots that include Mommy's big belly.
We celebrate Brian’s 34th birthday with salmon croquettes and apple pie. Catie and Brandon make Daddy some beautiful hand print art.
Catie and Brandon attend their first Easter Egg Hunt of the season. Catie becomes a bit frustrated by the wet grass on her feet, but loves riding the pony. Brandon plays with all of the animals in the petting zoo. He especially likes the bunnies and the giant turtle.
Mommy is officially 35 weeks pregnant and ready for these babies to enter the world. Mommy starts to really struggle to make it through each day as the end of March approaches. We cancel our dance class and Gymboree class for a few months and we attend less afternoon activities as Mommy’s mobility decreases.

I can't believe those babies haven't arrived yet! They will be here any day now, can't wait to meet them.
